Layers Window
The Layers Window shows the list of layers in your project. From the Layers Window, you can rename layers, toggle a switch to show or hide them in your Workspace, or hold Shift while clicking any layer to select all shapes on that layer.
In MillMage, different colors indicate different layers. By default, colors/layers are only visual indicators that you can use when creating and organizing your designs, and don't have any effect on the output to your CNC.
However, if you choose to enable Auto use layer for any operation, MillMage will automatically apply that operation to every shape on the chosen layer.
Accessing the Layers Window¶
The Layers Window is located in the upper right of MillMage by default, docked behind the Operations Window. If you have closed the Layers Window, go to Window → Layers to re-enable it. To restore it and all other windows to their default positions, go to Window → Reset to Default Layout.
Tip
The layout of MillMage is highly customizable. For more information on enabling and disabling windows and toolbars, or rearranging the default layout, see Customizing the MillMage Window.

Identify and Select All Objects on a Layer¶

Hold Shift and left-click any layer in the list to select all objects on that layer.
Tip
To perform the same action, you can also select any object in your Workspace, then go to Edit → Select all shapes in current layer.
