Fuzzy, Blurry, or Overblown Edges
Description¶
Fine details are blown out, or edges of engravings are fuzzy or blocky.
Solution¶
If alternating lines of an engraving are offset, add or adjust the Scanning Offsets.
If the lines are correctly positioned but look 'blocky' or staggered at the edges, consider:
- Lowering your Line Interval (increasing DPI)
- Using Sub Layers to add an outline to your engrave
- De-focusing your laser by a few millimeters so each scan line blends into the surrounding ones
