FAILURE TO FOLLOW CNC MANUFACTURER WORKHOLDING RECOMMENDATIONS CAN LEAD TO DAMAGED PROPERTY, BODILY HARM, OR DEATH.
Verify that the material stock is properly secured by vigorously pushing and pulling against the workpiece in all directions.

Secure Workpiece With Mounted Vise
Securely mount a vise to the CNC work area and use the vise jaws to hold the workpiece
Pros
- Restricts horizontal movement
- Can be removed and replaced with indexed mounting points
- Quick loading and unloading of workpiece
Cons
- May not provide sufficient holding power for heavy materials
- May not sufficently restrict vertical movement
- Impacts Z Axis travel
- Potential collision risk
- Additional equipment required
