Secure the material stock to the CNC machine by following the CNC manufacturer workholding guidelines.
FAILURE TO FOLLOW CNC MANUFACTURER WORKHOLDING RECOMMENDATIONS CAN LEAD TO DAMAGED PROPERTY, BODILY HARM, OR DEATH.
Verify that the material stock is properly secured by vigorously pushing and pulling against the workpiece in all directions.

Adhere Workpiece With Double-sided Tape
Apply double-sided sticky tape to the workpiece or the CNC waste board/work area, taking care to keep the tape flat and even. Adhere the workpiece to the CNC work area.
Pros
- Typically low-cost and quickly applied
- Securely holds down flat material
- Holding strength increases with larger surface contact areas
- Minimally impacts Z Axis working area
Cons
- Tooling can become gummed up if tape is cut
- Improper installation can impact tramming
- Shallower depths of cuts may be required to prevent unplanned release
- Not suitable for heavy-duty machining or high-precision work
- Not adjustment friendly
- Holding strength is reduced as surface contact area decreases
- Single use only
